THIS AWARD FUNDS THE APPROVED 2022-24 ARP SENIOR DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM GRANT. YOUR 2022-24 STATUTORY MATCH REQUIREMENT IS 10% AND YOUR BUDGETED MATCH IS 22.2%. THE CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS AGENCY ON AGING (CMAA) PROPOSES TO HAVE 360 AMERICORPS SENIOR VOLUNTEERS WHO WILL PROMOTE FAMILY INVOLVEMENT, SERVICE LEARNING, AND MENTORING IN CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS. THE PRIMARY FOCUS AREA OF THIS PROJECT IS EDUCATION. AT THE END OF THE TWO-YEAR GRANT PERIOD, AMERICORPS SENIORS VOLUNTEERS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCREASING THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS WITH IMPROVED ACADEMIC ENGAGEMENT AND SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SKILLS, AND 360 CHILDREN WILL DEMONSTRATE GAINS IN SCHOOL READINESS. AMERICORPS'S FEDERAL INVESTMENT OF $360,000 WILL BE SUPPLEMENTED BY $102,632 IN NON-FEDERAL RESOURCES.
