This includes several functions from development of the parks, programming entertainment and activities for all ages, and coordination of the park maintenance and Ranger services. THIS AGREEMENT WILL PROVIDE FUNDING TO RIVERFRONT RECAPTURE, INC TO CLEAN UP A BROWNFIELD SITE(S) IN HARTFORD AND WINDSOR CONNECTICUT. THE SITE TARGETED FOR CLEANUP IS MADE UP OF SIX CONTIGUOUS PARCELS THAT WILL BE DEVELOPED INTO A PUBLIC PARK AND PROVIDE ACCESS TO WINDSOR MEADOWS STATE PARK AND THE CONNECTICUT RIVER. BROWNFIELDS ARE REAL PROPERTY, THE EXPANSION, REDEVELOPMENT, OR REUSE OF WHICH MAY BE COMPLICATED BY THE PRESENCE OR POTENTIAL PRESENCE OF A HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE, POLLUTANT, OR CONTAMINANT. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE CONTRACTOR PROCUREMENT, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, CLEANUP PLAN DEVELOPMENT AND CLEANUP IMPLEMENTATION. DELIVERABLES AND OUTCOMES INCLUDE CLEANUP COMPLETION DOCUMENTATION TO CLEAR THE PATH FOR FUTURE REDEVELOPMENT AND JOB CREATION. NO SUBAWARDS ARE ANTICIPATED UNDER THE ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.
