INC. PROPOSES TO IMPROVE THE NUTRITION OF LOW-INCOME SENIORS AGED 60+WHO RECEIVE LESS THAN $200 PER MONTH IN SNAP BENEFITS AND LIVE IN ONE OF FIVE SELECTED DISADVANTAGED NEW YORK CITY NEIGHBORHOODS, THROUGH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF HEALTHY SENIORS HEALTHY SHOPPERS 2.0 (H2S2-2.0). THE PROGRAM WILL PROVIDE EACH PARTICIPANT A $4 INCENTIVE IN THE FORM OF H2S2-2.0 VOUCHERSTO PURCHASE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES AT ANYHARVEST HOME FARMERS MARKET LOCATION. WE ESTIMATE THAT THE AVERAGE INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE $175-$200 IN INCENTIVES EACH SEASON.THE VALUE OF THE INCENTIVES WILL BE ENHANCED BY CULTURALLY AND AGE-APPROPRIATE NUTRITION-RELATED ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING SNAP ENROLLMENT ASSISTANCE.
