NAPO IS A COALITION OF POLICE UNITS AND ASSOCIATIONS FROM ACROSS THE US. NAPO WAS ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADVANCING THE INTERESTS OF AMERICA'S LAW ENFOREMENT OFFICERS THROUGH LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY, POLITICAL ACTION AND EDUCATION. FOUNDED IN 1978, NAPO IS THE STRONGEST UNIFIED VOICE IN SUPPORTING LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS IN THE US. NAPO REPRESENTS MORE THAN 2,000 POLICE UNITS AND ASSOCIATIONS, OVER 241,000 SWORN LAW ENFOREMENT OFFICERS, AND MORE THAN 80,000 CITIZENS WHO SHARE A COMMON DEDICATION TO FAIR AND EFFECTIVE CRIME CONTROL AND ENFORCEMENT.
