AN INCLUSIVE LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT GOVERNANCE BODY WILL BE ESTABLISHED AND SUPPORTED IN SELECT TARGET AREAS TO DRIVE RESILIENT ECONOMIC GROWTH, WITH EXPANDED OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN AND YOUTH BASED ON SUSTAINABLE USE OF RESOURCES. THIS ACTIVITY WILL BE IMPLEMENTED THROUGH A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE RAINFOREST ALLIANCE. THE TOTAL ESTIMATED AMOUNT CONTRIBUTED BY THE U.S. AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT (USAID) TO THE RESTORE ACTIVITY IS $7,000,000, WITH AN ESTIMATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE OF FIVE YEARS, BEGINNING ON OR AROUND APRIL 1, 2022. OLAM INTERNATIONAL AND OTHER PRIVATE SECTOR PARTNERS ARE EXPECTED TO LEVERAGE CASH AND IN-KIND SUPPORT IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,147,126.00.
