THE MUSEUM OF INNOVATION AND SCIENCE (MISCI) WILL DESIGN, BUILD, AND EXHIBIT THE “ELECTRIC REVOLUTIONS: AMERICA, THE FIRST ELECTRIFIED ECONOMY” PROJECT. THE PROJECT WILL CREATE A MASSIVE 16.5 MEGAPIXEL INTERACTIVE OPEN-COLLECTIONS WALL TO BE INSTALLED IN MISCI’S NEW COMMUNITY ROOM, AN EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAM TO BE DELIVERED TO STUDENT AUDIENCES AT REGIONAL SCHOOLS, AND A PODCAST SERIES. THE MUSEUM WILL BRING PROFESSIONAL EVALUATORS TO THE EXHIBIT TO ASSESS THE EXHIBIT’S EFFECTIVENESS IN REACHING ITS GOALS AND TO IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES FOR FUTURE IMPROVEMENTS. THE PROJECT’S PRIMARY BENEFICIARIES WILL BE THE RESIDENTS OF NEW YORK’S CAPITAL REGION, WHICH COVERS 11 COUNTIES IN UPSTATE NEW YORK AND IS POPULATED BY A MIX OF RURAL AND URBAN COMMUNITIES.
