Mission Statement: My Brothers Keeper Inc. is a non-profit 501c 3 organization. My Brothers Keeper Inc. is a mentoring program designed to help boys and men overcome obstacles they face to become productive members of our community. My Brothers Keeper Inc. was founded in 2003 by Harry F. Sydney to help boys and men living in Brown County deal with lifes challenges. The mission is to provide mentoring services with Straight Talk - Sound Direction to individuals who lack the necessary life coping skills. Participants range from boys and men ages 11-65 identified by the schools courts and parents struggling with defining and achieving realistic goals. For over 23 years the program has provided an effective mentoring service. Research shows that mentoring is an effective tool for reaching individuals in need of self-direction and guidance in making informed life choices.
