THIS PROJECT WILL ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO PURSUE SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH (STEM) CAREERS, PARTICULARLY THOSE IN ENVIRONMENTAL-STEM FIELDS. STUDENTS WILL LEARN HOW TO REDUCE THEIR IMPACT ON THEIR ENVIRONMENT THROUGH WASTE MANAGEMENT, WATER CONSERVATION, AND AIR QUALITY IMPROVEMENT. AN E-LEARNING PLATFORM WILL HELP PROVIDE TEACHERS WITH THE RESOURCES NEEDED TO IMPLEMENT STEM CURRICULUM IN THEIR CLASSROOMS. FIFTEEN AMBASSADORS REPRESENTING 75+ EDUCATORS WILL DELIVER THE PROGRAM TO 3,000 STUDENTS. THIS AGREEMENT PROVIDES FULL FEDERAL FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $91,000. SEE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. PREAWARD COSTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BACK TO 7/1/2017.
