THE ORGANIZATION (NPHI USA) SUPPORTS VULNERABLE CHILDREN IN LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN. THE NPH HOMES PROVIDE FOOD, CLOTHING, HEALTH CARE, AND EDUCATION TO THESE CHILDREN IN A CHRISTIAN FAMILY ENVIRONMENT BASED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE AND LOVE, SHARING, WORK, AND RESPONSIBILITY. NPHI HAS ENTERED INTO AGREEMENTS WITH NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WITH RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL, AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) THAT HAVE DEMONSTRATED AN ABILITY TO MANAGE HOMES AND EFFECTIVELY CARE FOR CHILDREN IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES. UNDER ITS AFFILIATION AGREEMENTS, NPHI USA SERVES AS THE CENTRAL REPOSITORY FOR ADMINISTERING AND DISTRIBUTING FUNDS TO THE AFFILIATES IN THE OPERATION OF THE HOMES. IN ADDITION, NPHI USA WILL PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATING, TRAINING, AND GUIDING THE HOMES IN THEIR CARE FOR CHILDREN AND IN TRAINING AND GUIDING THE HOMES IN THE PROPER ORGANIZATION, MANAGEMENT, AND CARE FOR THE CHILDREN.
