COMMUNITY PROJECT FUNDING/CONGRESSIONALLY DIRECTED SPENDING - NON-CONSTRUCTION - PROJECT ACCESS NOW (PANOW) SERVES 20,000 INDIVIDUALS ACROSS OREGON, AND PARTNERS WITH MOST MAJOR HEALTH SYSTEMS IN THE REGION TO ENSURE ALL HAVE ACCESS TO CARE. PANOW CLIENTS ARE LARGELY LOW-INCOME, FROM IMMIGRANT POPULATIONS, NON ENGLISH-SPEAKING, AND/OR UNDOCUMENTED. AS THE SPECIAL PROJECTS TEAM CONTINUES TO SUPPORT NAVIGATION ACROSS HEALTH AND SOCIAL SYSTEMS, THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS STAFF AND TECHNOLOGY ARE ESPECIALLY CRITICAL. THE PROPOSED PROJECT WILL ADD A NEW STAFF MEMBER - DATA ANALYST - TO THE SPECIAL PROJECTS TEAM. IN ADDITION, FUNDING WILL SUPPORT TRAINING FOR STAFF AROUND THE TRACKVIA SYSTEM AND HIPAA. THE RESULT OF THE PROJECT WILL BE MORE ADVANCED AND SECURE HEALTH CARE DATA WHICH ALLOWS FOR INCREASED SERVICE DELIVERY AND IMPACT.
