PETERS VALLEY ENRICHES LIVES THROUGH THE LEARNING, APPRECIATION AND PRACTICE OF THE ART OF FINE CRAFT. THE SCHOOL IS AN INDEPENDENT NON-PROFIT THAT WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE DELAWARE WATER GAP NATIONAL RECREATION AREA (NATIONAL PARK SERVICE) THROUGH A GENERAL AGREEMENT UTILIZING HISTORIC BUILDINDS THROUGH ADAPTIVE RESUSE FOR ITS PROGRAMS. PETERS VALLEY SCHOOL OF CRAFT, INC. SERVES FOUR GROUPS OF CONSTITUENTS.1.STUDENTS WHO COME TO PETERS VALLEY TO BE ENRICHED THROUGH THE LEARNING SKILLS, EXPLORATION OF DESIGN, MATERIAL SCIENCE AND HISTORY, FOR THE MAKING OF FINE CRAFT OBJECTS.2.PROVIDES ART IN THE PARK EXPERIENCES TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC WHO VISIT PETERS VALLEY AND THE DELAWARE WATER GAP NATIONAL RECREATION AREA TO BE CULTURALLY ENRICHED BY LEARNING ABOUT AND DEVELOPING AN APPRECIATION OF FINE CRAFT.3.EMERGING AND PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS ARE ENGAGED BY PETERS VALLEY TO TEACH, LEARN, EXHIBIT, COLLABORATE, PRESENT, MAKE AND SELL WORK.4.CONTRIBUTES BY HELPING TO SHAPE AND ADVANCE THE FIELD
