DURING THE PROJECT, STAFF WILL REHOUSE TWO SUBSETS OF THE HENRY’S COLLECTION: 107 PAINTINGS IN THE FOUNDER'S COLLECTION BY ARTISTS SUCH AS WINSLOW HOMER, GEORGE INNESS, AND MARIE ROSALIE BONHEUR AS WELL AS 250 RECENTLY ACQUIRED LARGE-SCALE FRAMED PHOTOGRAPHS AND WORKS ON PAPER BY ARTISTS, INCLUDING NAN GOLDIN, EIRIK JOHNSON, AND ANDY WARHOL. INFORMED BY A PREVIOUS COLLECTIONS ASSESSMENT FOR PRESERVATION (CAP) REPORT, THE PROJECT WILL INCLUDE THE INSTALLATION OF A HIGH-DENSITY MOBILE ART RACK SYSTEM. ONCE COMPLETE, THE ARTWORKS WILL BE LESS VULNERABLE TO DAMAGE AND MORE AVAILABLE FOR EXHIBITION, WORKSHOP, AND RESEARCH PURPOSES.
