THE PRIMARY FOCUS AREA OF THIS PROJECT IS HEALTHY FUTURES WHICH SUPPORTS LIVING INDEPENDENTLY AND AGING IN PLACE. AT THE END OF THE THREE-YEAR GRANT, 250 OLDER ADULTS WILL REPORT IMPROVED FOOD SECURITY AND BETTER CAPACITY FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING, 75 ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED INDIVIDUALS WILL RECEIVE $85,000 IN TAX REFUNDS, AND 120 SENIOR CITIZENS WILL INCREASE SOCIAL SUPPORTS OR EXPERIENCE ENHANCED INDEPENDENCE THROUGH ELDER JUSTICE SCAM PREVENTION AND TELEPHONE REASSURANCE SERVICES. THE THREE YEAR CNCS FEDERAL INVESTMENT OF $258,231 WILL BE SUPPLEMENTED BY $110,670 IN NON-FEDERAL RESOURCES.

THE THREE YEAR CNCS FEDERAL INVESTMENT OF $192,048 WILL BE SUPPLEMENTED BY $48,012 IN NON-FEDERAL RESOURCES.
