WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA ELECTRICAL APPRENTICESHIP CORP'S PURPOSE IS TO MAKE LOCAL STANDARDS, IN CONFORMITY WITH THE NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING STANDARDS FOR THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING INDUSTRY, GOVERNING THE SELECTION, QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF APPRENTICES WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA ELECTRICAL APPRENTICESHIP CORP IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE TO SUPERVISE ALL MATTERS INVOLVING APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE LOCAL APPRENTICESHIP STANDARDS AND THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN LOCAL UNION NO 5, IBEW AND WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA CHAPTER NECA, INC WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA ELECTRICAL APPRENTICESHIP CORP IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TRAINING OF JOURNEYMEN AND OTHERS IN ADDITION, WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA ELECTRICAL APPRENTICESHIP CORP HAS ESTABLISHED THE IBEW LOCAL UNION NO 5.
