THE PURPOSE IS ALSO TO SUPPORT EFFICIENT REGULATORY COMPLIANCE WITH WPS TRAINING REQUIREMENTS, FOSTERING COLLABORATION BETWEEN AGENCIES AND STAKEHOLDERS AND REDUCING DELAYS IN AGRICULTURAL OPERATIONS. ACTIVITIES:THE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE 1) DELIVERING MULTILINGUAL PESTICIDE SAFETY TRAININGS IN CA, HI, KY, NC, WA, OR, FL, GA, IN, TN, GUAM, AND THE CNMI; 2) ESTABLISHING A TRAIN-THE-TRAINER NETWORK TO DELIVER EDUCATION LOCALLY AND EXTEND REACH AND CONTINUITY OF PROGRAMS; 3) DEVELOPING AND ENHANCING WPS EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES, INCLUDING DIGITAL RESOURCES; 4) BUILDING REGIONAL ADVISORY GROUPS TO ENSURE LOCAL INSIGHTS GUIDE PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION; 5) STRENGTHENING RELATIONSHIPS AMONG AGRICULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS, EMPLOYERS, AND OTHER GROUPS TO REDUCE DUPLICATION AND EXTEND THE COLLECTIVE IMPACT; 6) OUTREACH CAMPAIGNS; AND 7) MEASURING IMPACT AND OUTCOMES THROUGH TOOLS SUCH AS PRE/POST SURVEYS, TRAINER FEEDBACK, AND REGIONAL ASSESSMENTS, AND ANALYSIS OF TRENDS.SUBRECIPIENT:SUBAWARDS WILL GO TO THREE NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS: THE CALIFORNIA FARMWORKER FOUNDATION, NORTH CAROLINA AGROMEDICINE INSTITUTE, AND THE WESTERN TREE NUT ASSOCIATION. THE SUBAWARDS SUPPORT THE ADAPTATION OF TRAININGS TO LOCAL NEEDS, AS WELL AS TRAINING, OUTREACH, AND ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES IN SUPPORT OF THE PROJECT'S GOALS AND OBJECTIVES. NC AGROMEDICINE INSTITUTE WILL SUPPORT TRAININGS IN NORTH CAROLINA CITIES INCLUDING GREENSBORO AND SMITHFIELD.
