Through the granting of wishes, provide basic needs assistance to military personnel and their families. Wish for Our Heroes assists military families with food, shelter, transportation, child needs, medical expenses, mental health needs, and other basic necessities for military and their families. Through Walk Among Heroes, a division of Wish for Our Heroes, World War II Veterans, wounded Veterans, and Veterans from other wars are returned to places where they fought to allow for mental healing and the sharing of experiences and stories. The mission of Walk Among Heroes is to provide mental healing to Veterans who have sacrificed so much for the freedom of our nation, while facilitating a greater understanding of history.
