THE ORGANIZATIONS PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS THE RESCUE, REHABILITATION AND RE-HOMING OF ABANDONED, ABSUED, SURRENDERED AND OTHERWISE HOMELESS ANIMALS AND TO PROVIDE THE ANIMALS WITH ANY NECESSARY MEDICAL CARE PRIOR TO ADOPTION. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO STRIVES TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP AND, IN THAT CAPACITY, SERVE AS A SOURCE OF INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC REGARDING SUCH ISSUES AS LOW COST SPAYING/NEUTURING AND THE STEPSS TO REPORTING ANIMAL CRUELTY.
