SINCE 2005, WE HAVE BEEN WORKING TO IMPROVE EQUITABLE ACCESS TO QUALITY FOR ALL CHILDREN IN THE REGION OF SOUTH HAMPTON ROADS AND VIRGINIA. 40% OF VIRGINIA'S KINDERGARTNERS ARE NOT READY ACADEMICALLY AND SOCIALLY. TOO MANY CHILDREN ARE STRUGGLING IN LITERACY, MATH, SOCIAL SKILLS AND SELF-REGULATION.OUR VISION IS THAT ALL CHILDREN DESERVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ACCESS A HIGH-QUALITY CONTINUUM OF LEARNING. THEY WILL LEARN, GROW AND THRIVE TO THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL REGARDLESS OF THEIR ZIP CODES OR NEIGHBORHOODS. OUR MISSION IS TO RAISE AWARENESS, ADVOCATE AND CREATE INNOVATIVE INITIATIVES TO GIVE CHILDREN EQUITABLE ACCESS TO A HIGH-QUALITY EDUCATION FOR THE FIRST EIGHT YEARS OF THEIR LIVES.
