THE BLENNERHASSETT HISTORICAL FOUNDATION PRESERVES AND PROMOTES THE HISTORY OF PARKERSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA, AND THE SURROUNDING MID-OHIO RIVER REGION AND ALSO ENCOURAGES SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATION IN THE BLENNERHASSETT ISLAND STATE HISTORICAL PARK. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES FUNDS, VOLUNTEERS AND OTHER RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THE PARK'S MUSEUM, OPERATIONS, ACTIVITIES AND FACILITIES.
