(CAPACITY, OPERATIONS, & RECOVERY ENHANCEMENT) PROJECT WILL STRENGTHEN INDIANA’S STATEWIDE MENTAL HEALTH PEER WORKFORCE AND PEER-RUN ORGANIZATION INFRASTRUCTURE BY EXPANDING TRAINING, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, AND WORKFORCE PATHWAYS. SERVING ADULTS WITH SERIOUS MENTAL ILLNESS, TRANSITION-AGE YOUTH, AND INDIVIDUALS WITH LIVED MENTAL HEALTH EXPERIENCE, THE PROJECT WILL PROVIDE PEER SUPPORT TRAINING, CERTIFIED PEER RECOVERY COACH CREDENTIALING, MONTHLY SKILL-BUILDING WEBINARS, PEER LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, AND ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT FOR PEER-RUN ORGANIZATIONS. KEY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE DEVELOPING A STATEWIDE PEER SUPPORT PLAN, EXPANDING A PEER ADVISORY COMMITTEE, STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIPS WITH YOUTH- AND FAMILY-SERVING ORGANIZATIONS, AND IMPLEMENTING CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT. THE INITIATIVE AIMS TO INCREASE ACCESS TO RECOVERY-ORIENTED PEER SUPPORT, STRENGTHEN PEER LEADERSHIP, AND BUILD SUSTAINABLE STATEWIDE CAPACITY FOR PEER-LED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES.
