THE MISSION OF SC SHRM IS TO ENHANCE AND LEAD THE HUMAN RESOURCE PROFESSION IN SOUTH CAROLINA. WE SUPPORT THE SUCCESS OF: HR PROFESSIONALS BY PROVIDING LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES ON HR SUBJECT MATTER AS WELL AS INFORMATION ON SHRM INITIATIVES, CERTIFICATION, AND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES. OUR CHAPTERS BY PROVIDING KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND ENCOURAGEMENT AND BY SERVING AS A LIAISON BETWEEN THE LOCAL CHAPTERS AND SHRM. OUR COMMUNITY, EMPLOYERS, AND LEGISLATORS BY MONITORING HR ISSUES IN LEGISLATION AND PROVIDING KNOWLEDGE, ADVOCACY, AND OUTREACH.
