THE GEORGIA RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION (GRA) REPRESENTS THE FOOD SERVICE INDUSTRY, WHICH IS INTEGRAL AND ESSENTIAL TO THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL WELL BEING OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA. THE GRA WILL 1.) WORK TO IMPROVE THE POLITICAL, ECONOMIC, AND SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THE INDUSTRY CONDUCTS BUSINESS, 2.) PROMOTE THE ESSENTIAL AND DESIRABLE NATURE OF EATING FOOD PREPARED AND SERVED AWAY FROM HOME, AND OF FOOD PREPARED AND DELIVERED TO THE HOME AND 3.) EDUCATE THE INDUSTRY, PARTICULARLY THE CURRENT AND FUTURE MEMBERS, TO OPERATE MORE EFFECTIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF ITS PATRONAGE, STAFF, FOR THE INDUSTRY AS A WHOLE, AND FOR THE GENERAL WELL BEING OF THEIR STATE.
