THIS AGREEMENT PROVIDES SUPPORT TO THE VILLAGE OF PLOVER IN WISCONSIN FOR WETLAND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT. SPECIFICALLY, THIS PROJECT WILL BUILD ON THE EARLY SUCCESSES OF AN INTEGRATED WATERSHED MANAGEMENT PROJECT IN CENTRAL WISCONSIN'S LITTLE PLOVER RIVER (LPR) WATERSHED AND TO SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT-SUPPORTED, WATERSHED-BASED, WETLANDS CONSERVATION INITIATIVES IN THE REGION. THE PROJECT EMPLOYS THE THREE KEY APPROACHES EPA RECOGNIZES AS IMPORTANT TO WETLAND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: OUTREACH AND EDUCATION, PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS, AND AGENCY COORDINATION.
