PROJECT ACTIVITIES INCLUDE CREATING TWO MAJOR EXHIBITIONS FEATURING THE WORKS OF CONVENTIONALLY MARGINALIZED ARTISTS AND A COMMUNICATIONS PROGRAM DESIGNED TO ENGAGE NEW AUDIENCES FROM HISPANIC AND LATINX BACKGROUNDS BY PRIORITIZING LISTENING, STORYTELLING, GRASSROOTS OUTREACH, AND INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY. THE MUSEUM WILL ALSO HIRE A MANAGER OF INCLUSIVE PROGRAMS TO IMPLEMENT PROGRAMS SUCH AS OUTDOOR ARTS ACTIVITIES, EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS, AND A PUBLIC FASHION SHOW. THE PROJECT WILL FOSTER CROSS-CULTURAL COLLABORATION, AMPLIFY MARGINALIZED VOICES, AND EXPAND LATINX ARTS ACCESS AND REACH.
