Waldport Oregon Beachcomber Days WOBD was established in 1956 as an Oregon nonprofit corporation whose mission is to provide special events throughout the year to raise funds to support Beachcomber Days each June in an effort to award scholarships to students in the Waldport High School attendance area as well as providing assistance to families and individuals in need as circumstances arise in the Waldport Community. WOBD serves the community in and around the City of Waldport as well as Lincoln County. WOBD derives its revenues primarily from special events other fundraising activities and the in-kind contributions of many volunteers.
