THE ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE SUPPORTING THE ABILITY OF ADULTS WHO ARE HOMEBOUND AND OLDER ADULTS AND INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY. OTHER ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE DISTRIBUTING FOOD TO ASSIST THE LOW INCOME AND FOOD INSECURE POPULATION, PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION TO VETERANS WITH MEDICAL NEEDS, AND PROVIDE SUPPORT SERVICES TO VETERANS AND MILITARY FAMILIES. THE PRIMARY FOCUS AREA OF THIS PROJECT WILL BE "HEALTHY FUTURES." WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH GOALS THAT WILL INCLUDE ASSISTING HOMEBOUND SENIORS, VETERANS AND DISABLED PERSONS WITH HOME DELIVERED MEALS THAT SHOULD IMPROVE THEIR EATING HABITS AND HELP THEM MAINTAIN A HEALTHY DIET WHICH SHOULD ENABLE THEM TO REMAIN INDEPENDENT AND IN THEIR OWN HOMES.
