AN ESTIMATED 300 RSVP VOLUNTEERS WILL SERVE. OF THIS NUMBER, 204 RSVP VOLUNTEERS WILL FOCUS ON OUTCOME ASSIGNMENTS. SOME OF THEIR OUTCOME-BASED SERVICE ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE NUTRITION/FOOD SUPPORT, COMPANIONSHIP, SCHOOL READINESS, EDUCATION/TRAINING, AND OTHER ADULT EDUCATION. THE REMAINING 96 VOLUNTEERS WILL OFFER ASSISTANCE WITHIN OUTPUT AND COMMUNITY PRIORITY ASSIGNMENTS. THE PRIMARY FOCUS AREA OF THIS PROJECT IS HEALTHY FUTURES; HOWEVER, WE WILL ALSO BE ACTIVELY DEVELOPING ONE OF OUR CORE STRENGTHS IN THE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOCUS AREAS. AT THE END OF THE THREE-YEAR GRANT, 24 RSVP VOLUNTEERS WILL HAVE SUPPORTED 48 OLDER ADULTS? ABILITY TO AGE-IN-PLACE THROUGH COMPANIONSHIP AND THAT 403 OLDER ADULTS WILL REPORT AN INCREASE IN HEALTH KNOWLEDGE BECAUSE OF VOLUNTEERS PROVIDING EVIDENCE-BASED TRAINING. RSVP WILL UTILIZE 30 VOLUNTEERS TO SUPPORT EMPLOYMENT GOALS THROUGH OTHER ADULT EDUCATION WITH 450 RECEIVING ASSISTANCE AND 225 FINDING EMPLOYMENT. VOLUNTEERS WILL SUPPORT FOUR VOLUNTEER STATIONS AND 1485 INDIVIDUALS WILL REPORT AN INCREASE IN FOOD SECURITY DUE TO RSVP SUPPORT. THE PRIMARY FOCUS AREA OF THIS PROJECT IS HEALTHY FUTURES, HOWEVER, WE WILL ALSO BE ACTIVELY DEVELOPING THE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP FOCUS AREAS. AT THE END OF THE THREE-YEAR GRANT, IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT 82 RSVP VOLUNTEERS WILL HAVE SUPPORTED 1026 OLDER ADULTS' ABILITY TO AGE-IN-PLACE AND THAT 890 INDIVIDUALS WILL REPORT HAVING INCREASED SOCIAL SUPPORT OR IMPROVED CAPACITY FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING. ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP WILL BE DEVELOPED BY 5 VOLUNTEERS PROVIDING 100 PEOPLE WITH EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES WHILE AN ADDITIONAL TEN VOLUNTEERS WORK TO MAINTAIN 50 ACRES OF AN AT-RISK ECOSYSTEM. RSVP WILL UTILIZE 4 VOLUNTEERS TO SUPPORT EMPLOYMENT GOALS THROUGH OTHER ADULT EDUCATION WITH 60 PEOPLE RECEIVING ASSISTANCE AND 30 FINDING EMPLOYMENT. THE 180 VOLUNTEERS OFFERING ASSISTANCE WITHIN COMMUNITY PRIORITIES WILL SUPPORT 12 AREA NONPROFITS SUPPORTING FOOD INSECURITY, HEALTH ISSUES, INTERGENERATIONAL MENTORING AND MEETING OTHER CAPACITY BUILDING NEEDS.
