THIS PROJECT WILL BUILD UPON THE 2017-2019 NOAA FUNDED RESEARCH PROJECT "INCORPORATING CLIMATE SCIENCE TO HELP COMMUNITIES PLAN FOR CLIMATE EXTREMES" AND DEVELOP SUPPLEMENTAL GUIDANCE FOR THE ALREADY PUBLISHED GUIDEBOOK "USING CLIMATE INFORMATION IN LOCAL PLANNING: A GUIDE FOR COMMUNITIES IN THE GREAT LAKES." THIS PROJECT WILL DEVELOP TWO NEW CHAPTERS FOR THE GUIDEBOOK, THE FIRST FOCUSING ON LAKE-LEVEL VARIATION AND FLOOD RISK, AND THE SECOND FOCUSING ON DATA, TOOLS, AND RESOURCES FOR COMMUNITIES SEEKING MORE EQUITABLE OUTCOMES.
