ANDERSON INTERFAITH MINISTRIES' (AIM) MISSION IS TO CONNECT PEOPLE WITH SUPPORT, RESOURCES, AND EDUCATION SO THEY CAN EMPOWER THEMSELVES TO BECOME SELF-SUFFICIENT. THE PROPOSED VISTA PROJECT ALIGNS WITH THE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOCUS AREA. THE VISTA PROJECT WILL SEEK TO DEVELOP ADDITIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE TO INCREASE CAPACITY FOR SEAMLESS TRANSITIONS IN STAFFING AND VOLUNTEERS, EVALUATE PROGRAMS TO INCREASE AND MAXIMIZE IMPACT, EXPAND ITS ABILITY TO SERVE MORE LOW-INCOME HOMEOWNERS, AND INCREASE DIVERSIFICATION OF FUNDING STREAMS FOR LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY. AIM EXPECTS TO BENEFIT OVER 13,000 LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS ANNUALLY. THE 6 VISTA MEMBERS WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE GOALS OF THE PROJECT BY PERFORMING ACTIVITIES SUCH AS DEVELOPING DATABASES, TRAINING RESOURCES, EVALUATION RESOURCES AND PROCESS MANUALS, AS WELL AS COMPLETING RESEARCH RELATED TO THEIR DEPARTMENT OF SERVICE OVER THE COURSE OF 5 YEARS.
