GROUPS TARGETED FOR MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS TRAINING AND EDUCATION INCLUDE YOUTH AND THOSE WHO INTERACT WITH YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS, LAW ENFORCEMENT AND FIRST RESPONDERS, VETERANS AND THEIR LOVED ONES, FAITH BASED GROUPS, LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUPS, SOCIAL SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS LOCAL SHELTERS FOR HOMELESSNESS OR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, AND SUBSTANCE USE PROVIDERS. TRAINING IS INTENDED TO HELP INDIVIDUALS RESIDING IN UNDERSERVED, PREDOMINANTLY MINORITY, AND LOW SOCIOECONOMIC COMMUNITIES. THESE INDIVIDUALS MAY BE AT RISK OR ARE EXHIBITING SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF VARIOUS DEGREES OF MENTAL ILLNESS, INCLUDING SED AND SID.
