THE COALITION WILL PREVENT AND REDUCE YOUTH SUBSTANCE USE BY IMPLEMENTING THE FOLLOWING STRATEGIES: (1) ENHANCE WISE'S CAPACITY TO COMMUNICATE WITH MEMBERS AND POTENTIAL MEMBERS. (2) RECRUIT NEW MEMBERS TO REPRESENT THE HISPANIC COMMUNITY AND ADDITIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES. (3) EXPAND CURRENT COALITION MEMBER AND PARTNER RECOGNITION EFFORTS. (4) PROMOTE IN-STATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR TRAINING AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. (4) ENSURE THAT APPROPRIATE LEADERS PARTICIPATE IN OUT-OF-STATE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES. (5) ORGANIZE A TEAM TO PREPARE AND SUBMIT THE REQUIRED APPLICATION PACKAGE TO THE IRS. (6) REDUCE YOUTH ACCESS TO ALCOHOL IN PRIVATE RESIDENCES. (7) REDUCE YOUTH ACCESS TO ALCOHOL IN PRIVATE CLUBS. (8) MODIFY STATE AND LOCAL POLICIES RELATED TO UNDERAGE DRINKING. (9) CHANGE CONSEQUENCES FOR UNDERAGE DRINKERS AND PARENTS WHO PROVIDE ALCOHOL OR ALLOW UNDERAGE DRINKING PARTIES TO TAKE PLACE ON PROPERTY THEY CONTROL. (10) REDUCE YOUTH ACCESS TO PRESCRIPTION DRUGS. (11) MODIFY STATE POLICIES RELATED TO PRESCRIPTION DRUG MISUSE.
