MARRIAGE MATTERS - HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP EDUCATION FOR COUPLES IN SOUTH FLORIDA RESIDING IN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY AND BROWARD COUNTY. - MARRIAGE MATTERS - HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP EDUCATION FOR COUPLES IN SOUTH FLORIDA RESIDING IN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY AND BROWARD COUNTY. BE STRONG INTERNATIONAL WILL IMPLEMENT THE MARRIAGE MATTERS PROGRAM TO STRENGTHEN MARRIAGES BY PROVIDING EVIDENCE-BASED RELATIONSHIP EDUCATION TO ADULT COUPLES IN MIAMI-DADE AND BROWARD COUNTIES. THE PROJECT WILL DELIVER THE PREP 8.0 CURRICULUM THROUGH 14-HOUR WORKSHOP SERIES, SUPPLEMENTED BY CASE MANAGEMENT, FINANCIAL LITERACY EDUCATION, AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES. SERVICES WILL BE PROVIDED IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH AT BSI'S OFFICES AND COMMUNITY PARTNER SITES THROUGHOUT MIAMI-DADE AND BROWARD COUNTIES. THE PROGRAM EXPECTS TO SERVE 600 COUPLES OVER THE FIVE-YEAR PROJECT PERIOD, HELPING THEM BUILD COMMUNICATION SKILLS, CONFLICT RESOLUTION STRATEGIES, AND STRONGER MARITAL BONDS.
