WITHOUT THE TELEMEDICINE SUITES, OLDER ADULTS WOULD BE FORCED TO TRAVEL SIGNIFICANT DISTANCES TO ACCESS NECESSARY MEDICAL CARE AND RISK EXPOSURE TO A NEW ILLNESS IN THE DOCTOR’S WAITING ROOM. THIS FUNDING MAKES DOCTOR VISITS FEASIBLE FOR PATIENTS WHO MAY FORGO SEEING A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL BECAUSE OF THE CHALLENGE IN GETTING TO A DOCTOR’S OFFICE.
