OPPORTUNITY P22AS00457 THE GOAL OF THE PAUL BRUHN HISTORIC REVITALIZATION GRANTS PROGRAM IS TO FUND SUBGRANT PROGRAMS THAT SUPPORT THE REHABILITATION OF HISTORIC PROPERTIES TO FOSTER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN RURAL COMMUNITIES. THESE SUBGRANT PROGRAMS, MANAGED BY STATES, TRIBES, CERTIFIED LOCAL GOVERNMENTS, AND NON-PROFITS WILL FUND PRESERVATION PROJECTS FOR HISTORIC SITES TO INCLUDE ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING SERVICES AND PHYSICAL PRESERVATION. BENEFICIARIES INCLUDE STATES, TRIBES, NONPROFITS, AND CLGS WHICH SUBGRANT TO BENEFICIARIES IN RURAL COMMUNITIES. PROPERTIES MUST BE LISTED IN OR DETERMINED ELIGIBLE FOR LISTING IN THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES AND LOCATED IN AREAS DEFINED AS RURAL BY THE U.S. CENSUS (POPULATION LESS THAN 50,000). THIS PROJECT IS AWARDED TO THE MISSOURI MAIN STREET CONNECTION FOR SUBGRANTS TO SUPPORT THE REHABILITATION OF HISTORIC BUILDINGS IN RURAL COMMUNITIES IN MISSOURI.
