THE PURPOSE OF THIS COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT (CA OR AGREEMENT) IS TO SUPPORT THE LIFESAVERS CONFERENCE, INC. HOST AND COORDINATE A NATIONAL CONFERENCE KNOWN AS THE LIFESAVERS NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON HIGHWAY SAFETY PRIORITIES. THE ASSISTANCE WILL SUPPORT LIFESAVERS CONFERENCE, INC. TO TRAIN, EDUCATE AND SHARE INNOVATIVE HIGHWAY SAFETY COUNTERMEASURES AND SOLUTIONS FOR THE 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, AND 2027 CONFERENCES. NHTSA WILL PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO SUPPORT THE DISSEMINATION OF TECHNICAL CONTENT AND A FOCUS ON THE INNOVATIVE RESEARCH AND PROMISING PRACTICES, EXPOSING THE 2000 LIFESAVERS ATTENDEES TO DIFFERENT WAYS OF THINKING ABOUT APPLYING LESSONS FROM OTHER DISCIPLINES, WHILE THE LIFESAVERS CONFERENCE, INC. WILL PROVIDE THE MANAGEMENT, DEVELOPMENT AND LOGISTICAL EFFORTS REQUIRED TO STAGE A NATIONAL CONFERENCE.
