ACTIVITIES:SOLAR PROJECTS RECEIVING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE RECIPIENT MAY RECEIVE ASSISTANCE FOR ASSOCIATED ENERGY STORAGE AND UPGRADES THAT EITHER ENABLE PROJECT DEPLOYMENT OR MAXIMIZE THE BENEFITS OF THE PROJECT FOR LOW-INCOME AND DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES. EACH YEAR, A COHORT OF 11-12VETERAN FARMERS WILL MEET ONLINE AND IN PERSON 11TIMES TO LEARN ABOUT DIFFERENT AGRITOURISM OPPORTUNITIES TO INCORPORATE ON THEIR FARMS. NEBRASKATOURISM COMMISSION, LEGAL AID OF NEBRASKA, UNL EXTENSION AND VETERAN FARMERS WILL CONTRIBUTE TOTHE CURRICULUM, SITE SELECTIONS, AND DELIVERY OF THE WORKSHOPS. THE COHORT STYLE OF DELIVERY WILL ALLOWPARTICIPANTS TO NETWORK WITH EACH OTHER AND LEARN FROM EACH OTHER. SCHOLARSHIPS TO LOCAL, REGIONAL ANDNATIONAL CONFERENCES WILL BE OFFERED TO PARTICIPANTS TO GAIN FURTHER KNOWLEDGE ABOUT LOCAL, REGIONALAND NATIONAL AGRITOURISM TOPICS.
