THE PROPOSED VISTA PROJECTS ALIGN WITH THE CNCS'S FOCUS ON ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY. ASCEND AND ESN SEEK TO LAUNCH SEVERAL KEY PROJECTS AND EXPECT TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES TO LOW-INCOME AND UNDERREPRESENTED INDIVIDUALS AND SUPPORT RESOURCES THAT CONTRIBUTE TO THE IMPROVED OUTCOMES FOR THOSE WITH LOW-INCOME BACKGROUNDS. TWELVE VISTA MEMBERS (10 ASCEND, 2 ESN) WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE GOALS OF THE PROJECTS BY PERFORMING ACTIVITIES SUCH AS PROGRAM MANAGEMENT, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, FUNDRAISING AND COMMUNICATIONS, AND CREATING SUSTAINABLE SYSTEMS FOR EACH PROJECT.

THE PROPOSED VISTA PROJECT ALIGNS WITH THE CORPORATION FOR NATIONAL SERVICE'S FOCUS ON EDUCATION AND ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY. THE VISTA PROJECT WILL SEEK TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO MEANINGFUL TRAINING, INTERNSHIPS, AND JOBS FOR INDIVIDUALS ACROSS THE STATE AND EXPECTS TO BENEFIT UNEMPLOYED INDIVIDUALS, LOW-INCOME ADULTS, AND LOW-INCOME YOUTH. EIGHT AMERICORPS VISTA MEMBERS WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE GOALS OF THE PROJECT BY PERFORMING ACTIVITIES SUCH AS PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION AND EXPANSION, STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT, MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS, AND SUSTAINABILITY PLANNING OVER THE COURSE OF THREE YEARS.
